Osmo WR Base Coat (4001) is an outside wood preservative for use on wooden surfaces that need protection against wood decay, blue stain, and wood-pulverizing bugs. It tends to be utilized on most outside wooden surfaces including frames, windows, roller shades, entryways, lattice, pergolas, and garden furniture before coating with suitable outside wood oil.

For a preservative and biocide-free option in contrast to this item, give Osmo Wood Protector (4006) ago.

Note: This item isn’t suggested for use as a basecoat under Osmo UV Protection Oil Natural (429), which is intended to hold the untreated, natural completion of the wood. This item will enhance and obscure the wood grain which is something contrary to what the regular UV assurance oil is intended to do.

Using this item on harsh sawn wood will fundamentally diminish its inclusion.
