Preparing and Applying

We always suggest that surfaces ought to be dry and clear and that all hints of residue and soil be eliminated with a brush or vacuum cleaner before applying a wood finish.

The need for sanding and eliminating past finishes from the surface will rely upon the oil, wax, or stain utilized (see product instructions for direction on this).

Wooden Floors

Apply first coat equally and thinly along the wood grain with an Osmo Floor Brush along with the Osmo Telescopic Handle for simplicity of use

Eliminate any overflow oil and leave it to dry (8-10 hours)

Gently de-nib the surface

Eliminate all hints of de-nibbing/sanding dust with a vacuum cleaner

Apply a second slight cover and let it fully dry

Cork Floors

Apply the first thin coat with an Osmo Professional Scraper, and for smaller places utilize an Osmo Soft Tip Brush

Polyx-Oil is supposed to quickly seep into the surface

Leave to dry for  24 hours at least

Apply second thin coat

Take off abundance with a cloth right away

Leave to dry for at any rate 24 hours
